Genre: Paranormal Romance
Release Date: October 24, 2016

“Welcome to Hell.”Persephone Fields is just an average girl: beloved daughter and loyal friend. One night decides her Fate, when the prince of The Underworld becomes her savior and her kidnapper.

Hades has lived centuries in darkness and sin. When he decides to save the blonde goddess, he doesn’t consider the ramifications of his decision to bring her into his realm.

Two worlds divided struggle to find friendship in a history of family discord beyond their control. When attraction blurs the line, questions result in choices of love or loyalty.

A modern twist of the classic myth: Hades and Persephone, this version incorporates the sensual tension of opposites divided by contemporary humanity and mythical underworlds. Also reminiscent of Romeo and Juliet, this is a love story ripe with desire.

Author’s note: This book contains scenes of sexual intimacy.

I wasn’t quite sure what I was getting into with this book when I decided to read it, but I’d always been interested in the original story. This was a much better telling in my humble opinion.

In this version, Hades is the big guys son, so technically he’s Hades Jr.  And Persephone is a young woman who’s hanging around with her friends one night when she senses someone watching her. When she has to run back to get something she forgot, she’s saved from an attack by Hades, but he takes her with him to an alternate reality. “Welcome to Hell” he tells her.

And wait until you see where Hell actually ends up being. Hades actually feels bad when he introduces her to daddy, because dad decides he wants to use her as a bargaining chip. And oh…if she commits one of the seven levels also known as the seven deadly sins, she stays…permanantly, and that includes eating or drinking. But Hades does what he can to try to make her stay as pleasant as he can and finds himself caring for Persephone.

This was a truly enjoyable read and I highly recommend it. If a blue guy who has no expiration with a dad who looks like Steven Tyler and rules Hell, and a Mother who makes Ice Queen a pet name, this is definitely your read.
